Girls education is a strategic development priority, in addition to improving quality of life, access to inclusive education equips women and girls with the tools to develop innovative solutions to the world’s greatest problems.
DDF acts to end poverty through programs aimed at income security, decent work and economic autonomy. In addition to this, we are providing trainings and practical skills to empower poor women economically and give them a voice.
We reach out to women who are most in need, particularly marginalized groups that includes rural women, domestic workers, some migrants and low-skilled women. Our aims are higher incomes, better access to and control over resources, and greater security, including protection from violence.
We have a unique and holistic method of tackling Gender Based Violence through the development and implementation of a series of initiatives, providing preventive measures in education and community service to reduce the high incidence.
DDF has made the commitment to improve the health and well-being of women and children through prevention and treatment, education, immunization campaigns, sexual and reproductive health care.
By providing a variety of leadership development, technology education and mentoring opportunities for women at all levels, DDF is dedicated to closing the gender gap that exists in this sector.
